Super Green Juice

Howdy folks!

I really wanted to share this quick and easy juicing recipe with you as it is super tasty and filled to the brim with green goodness. I've been a fan of juicing for quite a while now, personally I do not recommend juice diets but I do think they are great to pack in your greens when you feel you are not quite getting enough. If you struggling to eat your 'five a day' then this is perfect for you.

What you'll need:

4 x Apples
2 x Pears
4 x big handfuls of spinach
4 x big handfuls of kale
1x pineapple
2 x celery
1 x teaspoon Green Superblend Powder

This does seem like a lot but I manged to get 4 juices from this. I'm happy to keep these in the fridge for up to 2 days.

I picked up this Green Superblend Powder from Aldi for around £2-£3 (so cheap!). This powder is made up of wheatgrass powder, pea protein powder, barley grass powder, spinach powder, ginger powder and spirulina powder. It can be mixed in to juices, smoothies and also sprinkled on to salads.  Aldi have such a good range of healthy products at the moment and they are so affordable compared to places such as Holland and Barrett. I also picked up a bag of chia seeds (again, so cheap!) & these amazing vegan friendly brownies!

I know this doesn't look like the nicest tasting juice ever but the pineapple really gives it a sweet fruity taste and over powers the kale & spinach.

I do not like to skip meals or replace them with juices or powdered drinks so I will have this between meals as a snack.
