Lush - Swansea

Hiii Lush I'm baaack!

As I mentioned in my previous post I really wanted to try a Lush hair treatment in hopes that my hair would soak up all the natural goodness. So pay-day me & Josh went a long to Swansea for food and a little bit of shopping. I orignally wanted to try the treatment Roots but after reading the pot I realised that it was more suited to thin hair which I definately do not have!

I eventually decided on the hair treatment H'Suan Wen Hua (£9.75)
It is described as rich in protein and oils which deeply moisturise the hair. Perfect for my sad, straw hair! The product itself is of a thick consistency, which I prefer as it makes it easier to apply. The smell.. not so great, but bearable!

I take a generous sized blob of the product and apply it straight to dry hair from root to tip. Making sure the hair is all nicely covered I then put my hair up in a bun and leave for around 20 minutes. Shampoo & condition as normal.

After the first treatment I could tell that my hair loved this product and happily soaked up the goodness. For super dry hair it suggests using once a week for 6 weeks so that's what I have decided to do. Using my usual products every other wash.

Seriously, Hair Gods, I'm trying really hard here! Please help my hair grow!

Next up, Josh picked the shower jelly Whoosh. We've both wanted to try one of these for aaaages, due to us not having a bath these are the next best thing to bath bombs.

This blue wobbly blob will "blast away tiredness" great for those who are a little run down with tiredness.

The ingrediants include fresh grapefruit & lime juice which smell amazing! At first it was a little difficult to keep control of the jelly (ha!) but I just tear a tiny bit off, rub together in my hands to create a soapy lather and then use it like a normal shower gel! It's great for cleansing and lifting away dead skin cells and can also be used on your hair (great for Josh).

The next thing I have my eye on is the Gorilla perfume Karma, my friend uses it and it smells SO good and lasts ages!

Have you tried any of the shower jellies? Which is your favourite?

  2. I love LUSH. I keep getting bath bombs at the moment because soon I'm moving flats and won't have a bath... When I move I'll probably start buying the shower jellies because some of them smell lovely.
