My Protein Haul

Hey y'aallll! I am finally getting round to updating my blog - I've been slacking but have decided to focus on the fitness side now which is what I enjoy the most. 

So, I thought I'd share my recent MyProtein purchases. I usually go with LDNM which are great but there was a sale on MyProtein through January so that's the main reason I went with them.

My goal at the moment is to grow some muscle, when nosing on the website I came across the 'Woman's Build Muscle Bundle' which includes the following:

Impact Whey Protein – 1kg
At the heart of the bundle comes the prestigious Impact Whey Protein, the UK’s #1 Whey Protein. Creatine Monohydrate tablets
To help improve strength and power we have included Creatine. BCAA plus  tablets

CLA capsules

Active Women  tablets

When you receive the bundle it is quite overwhelming if you are pretty new to these types of supplements. I've spent so long googling what's best to take, when to take it etc... it can all get quite confusing for newbies like myself!

My routine at the moment is -

Breakfast, 1 x active women tablet & 1 x green tea tablet

Lunch, 2 x CLA & 1 x Flaxseed tablet

Before Gym / Fitness Class, 2 x creatine tablets

Dinner, 1 x active women tablet

It's important to remember that supplements aren't a necessity. You can acheive your goals simply through eating right and working out but I like to use them just as an extra boost.

I am trying to incorporate more heavy lifting in to my gym routine. I've been obsessed with watching youtube videos - trying to get ideas & tips on weight lifting - it can be so intimidating when you first start (especially when there are dudes in the gym!).
