Honey Bee Beautiful

Recently, I had been invited to the launch of the Honey Bee Beautiful brand which took place in Miskin Manor - it sounded amazing but unfortunately I couldn't attend due to work. The lovely Catherine @ Honey Bee kindly sent me some products to try out which I was so gratetful to receive!

I would describe my skin type as normal but during the colder months it definitely becomes a little dry so the Bumble Bee range for dry skin is perfect at this time of year.

It consists of the following:

Cleansing balm - with coconut oil to hydrate and soothe & red clay for a very gentle exfoliation.

Spritz toner - with glycerin to heavily hydrate and stop moisture loss and calendula flower extract to act as an anti-inflammatory.

Facial oil - with rose hip oil to naturally improve the signs of ageing and avocado oil for moisture and richness.

The thing that excites me about these products is they are 100% natural and are made in Wales! (yay)

My favourite item of the three is the facial oil. After I remove my makeup I use the pipette to squeeze a few drops on to a cotton pad and then sweep it over my face. It feels SO moisturizing, like nothing I have used before. It really feels like a treat for my skin.

The cleansing balm smells so lovely and feels really thick and luxurious on the skin. I have been using this in the nights before bed.

If I am in a rush, in the mornings before work the spritz is super quick and easy to use. It soaks in to the skin really quickly and is great to use before I apply my makeup, prepping the skin for my foundation.

A little about the brand...

My name is Catherine Clark and I am the founder and owner of Honey Bee Beautiful.  I live with the bees on a farm in Llangybi in the beautiful rolling countryside of Monmouthshire in South Wales.  It is fair to say that the  bees have quite literally taken over my life and in addition to caring for them and extracting the honey and beeswax, I am an artisan producer of a delicious range of handmade, 100% natural skincare which is completely free from chemicals or any other nasties so that you can care for your skin the way nature intended - naturally - whilst at the same time supporting your local honeybees.  Honey and beeswax are perfect in skincare as the honey acts to soothe and repair dry, sore or damaged skin whilst attracting and locking in moisture.  The beeswax acts as a natural barrier to stop your skin losing vital moisture whilst providing natural protection against environmental pollutants.

There's so many lovely products to choose from on their website. From skincare & soaps to hair care & candles. They also offer a range of wedding favours which I think would be super cute at any wedding!

Have you tried anything from this brand before? Please let me know in the comments!
