Lush - Watford

GUYS!

If you are following me on Twitter you will have seen my cries for sympathy at the fact that my mother doesn't have bath, so I have not had a bath or more importantly a Lush bathbomb for almost a year now. For my birthday we headed up to Watford to visit the WB Studios, on our travels up there it hit me that there may be a bath in the hotel so i quickly googled the nearest Lush shop which happens to be in the Intu Shopping Centre, Watford. *Cue excitement*

Our Harry Potter tour was not until 4pm Friday so we headed to the shopping centre to have a nose around before heading down to the studios. I had sort of forgotten how amazing Lush is, picking up different products, smelling them, reading what amazing things they do.

I had made a little list of things I wanted to purchase - my skin has been feeling really sorry for itself now the weather is getting colder and I have had a few annoying breakouts. I decided to try the Cosmetic Warrior face mask which is described as -

A gentle and balancing fresh face mask with antibacterial tea tree and fresh garlic working together to cleanse. Fresh green grapes clean and cool the skin, whilst free range eggs tighten its texture and antimicrobial honey leaves it soft and moisturised.

When I applied the product on to my skin it instantly felt really cooling and you could smell the tea tree really strong. It kinda looks like old rice pudding but don't let that put you off! After 10 - 15 minutes I washed the mask off and my red, angry breakouts instantly looked a lot calmer (yay!)

The next item I choose to help my skin is the Tea Tree toner tab which is only £1. I have yet to use this but the website boasts:

If your skin could use a little extra TLC, try this powerful yet gentle treatment of tea tree oil and aloe vera. Tea tree is known for its antibacterial and antiseptic properties, and helps to combat the bacteria that causes spots. Aloe vera is kind, cooling and wonderfully gentle on the skin. Drop into a bowl of hot water, releasing the steam to open pores and allow the essential oils to be absorbed.

Then finally, the best bit, I chose the Northern Lights bath bomb which I had seen a lot on Instagram.

Bring the ecstatic beauty of the night sky into the bath. Trails of blue and yellow jettison from a purple casing and dance across the water in otherworldly streams. As they do, cheery ylang ylang bobs and weaves with sensual jasmine in the air to light up your spirits.

It was so cool watching the colours pour from each end as it fizzed in the bath, I loved the smell too, you could really smell the jasmine which I love. The bath is then left this strange green/black/grey colour. It reminded me of a firework going off then the dark sky afterwards - so cool!

What are your favourite Lush products?

Let me know in the comments!
