Seventeen

I recently received this package from Seventeen after joining their Bloggers Network. I was super excited when I opened it up to find this gorgeous palette & two beautifully bright lip products.

Firstly, the lipsticks that I received are:

'Back to the Fushia' - a super bright pink.

'No Corals' - a coral, orange tone.

Cute names! Now, as a girl who is stuck in the nude bracket when it comes to lip colours these are really out of my comfort zone. I am pretty much a makeup newbie so always shy away from anything bright & bold. Saying that, I am so happy that I have been sent these as I know I would never have picked them up myself & after swatching them I am really impressed. As you can see, the colour pay off is amazzzingggg. The formula is really creamy & doesn't dry out my lips. These will be perfect when I'm feeling a little adventurous - with a light eye look, keeping the focus on the lips!

Next, the 'Easy on the Eye' palette which I was really excited about. Only recently, since starting this blog have I really began experimenting with my eye shadows & creating different looks. It comes with 8 matte, shimmer & pearl powders, 3 metallic creams & an eye primer - it has everything you need to create an  effortless smokey eye look. I love that it comes with its own primer, it's so handy to have it all in one palette, especially when travelling! As you can see from the swatches above the colours are perfect for this time of year.

Another great thing for makeup newbies is it comes with a little card showing you exactly where to apply the product & what colours work best together  - can all palettes have this please?!

What are your favourite Seventeen products? Let me know what I need to try next!

  9. I won this eye shadow palette from a blogger on Twitter, and it just arrived yesterday. Excited to try it but the little guide wasn't in it so was happy to find you'd included a pic! I've added it to my Pinterest board as I'm hopeless with eyeshadow without a guide haha!
