Paul Mitchell - Ultimate Colour Repair Set

I was recently gifted this Paul Mitchell set which I was so excited about as my hair has really taken a beating this last couple of weeks! I've bleached out the purple (sob, sob) which then turned an interesting shade of GREEN! Attempted to go blonde but eventually admitted defeat and opted for brown instead - I don't feel like myself with brown hair but I thought it was time my hair had a rest from all the bleaching. I had considered giving my hair the chop but am so thankful that I waited as my hair is a lot better now.

What I received:

Ulitmate Colour Repair Shampoo
Ulitmate Colour Repair Conditioner
Ulimate Colour Repair Triple Rescue spray

Firstly, I was suprised at the size of these 'samples' - I am so grateful!

Next, the packaging is this lovely bronze/orange/gold colour. The product itself has an interesting smell - it is pleasant but I can't quite explain what it smells like! It is of a thick consistency which makes it feel luxiorious and a real treat for the hair.

I use the shampoo as normal, then apply a good sized blob of conditioner focusing on the ends of my hair as they are the most dry. I leave this on for around 5 minutes - leaving it to do its job. Once out of the shower, I towel dry my hair and apply a generous spritz of the rescue spray which is great to use before I dry/straighten/curl my hair.

I have been using these products teamed with coconut oil masks on the weekend and it has made a huge difference to my hair! When I first dyed it brown using nice n easy it was super dry and the ends were a sorry sight to see - I can't quite believe the difference this has made in the last 2 weeks.

At £17.50 each it is on the pricey side but I am so pleased with the reasults that I will 100% be repurchasing these! I haven't been this excited about a hair product since I tried the Hair Doctor from Lush (please, please bring it back)

Have you tried this range before? Let me know in the comments!
