First Impressions - Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask!

You have probably already heard about this mask as it's been making its way around the blogging universe - as soon as I saw how it bubbles up and creates a funny foamy face I had to buy it (purely because I wanted to see Josh with it on). This mask is made in Korea, I ordered mine from eBay for around £10.

The first thing you'll notice is the super cute packaging, there are soo  many cute Korean products online! The packaging is obviously in Korean so I googled the ingredients :

Purified Water, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, White Clay, Acrylate Copolymer, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Methyl Perfluorobutyl Ether, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Lauramide DEA, TEA-Cocoyl Glutamate, Green Tea Extracts, Glycerine, Dipropylene Glycol, Bentonite, Collagen, Charcoal Powder, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Flavouring Agents, Carbonated Water, Xanthan Gum, Disodium EDTA, Allantoin, Butylene Glycol, Lavender Extracts, Monarda Didyma Leaf Extracts, Peppermint Leaf Extracts, Freesia Leaf Extracts, Chamomile Flower Extracts, Rosemary Leaf Extracts

The mask itself is a gross green/grey colour, it looks and feels like slime. The smell is quite pleasant which I didn't expect. You only need a small amount of product so this jar will last you a while. Apply an even coat of the mask straight on to your skin, there is no need to wash your face first (it helps remove makeup). After a few minutes the mask starts to bubble up, I'm not sure if I have an unusually ticklish face but I think I managed to keep it on for around 5 minutes before it became too much. It really feels like it is working deep in to the skin, a bubble bath for your pores! After the first use my skin appeared super clean and soft, my pores and chin area were really red but once this had died down my pores did look a lot cleaner & smaller (yay!) I will definitely continue to use this once a week in hopes it will help my pores disappear.

Have you used any unusual products recently? Let me know in the comments!
