My Favourite Gym Supplements

These products are what help ME - I can't guarantee that these will work for you, it's all about finding what is right for you. When I firsted starting going to the gym I didn't have a clue about supplements & protein, these are just a few that I have picked up along the way.

Firstly, Rocket Fuel coffee is a super strong coffee that is a great substitute for pre-workout. It will help give you that extra boost before a gym session - perfect for those who attend the gym early morning before work. Now, I do love pre-workout, it is hit and miss with certain brands but this is a much cheaper alternative. Although I am still getting used to the taste, I drink this black, no milk or sugar!

Next up is the LDNM Green Tea supps. One capsule is the equivalent of 8-9 cups of green tea! I drink around 5 cups a day but for those days where I just don't fancy drinking green tea (the taste isn't the best) I can just take one of these. I take one most mornings before the gym.

During my workouts I like to add one scoop of IBCAA to my water - this is great for an energy boost and also helps with muscle recovery. I mostly like to drink this during an intense fitness class such as Body Attack or HIIT.

Post workout I like to drink a protein shake with almond or soya milk. My favourite flavours are vanilla and chocolate but I've heard the mayple syrup flavour is amazing. Protein is essential for muscle growth and repair, the LDNM protein is by far the best I have tried so far. I also like to mix a scoop with my oats or yoghurt in the morning, perfect breakfast post workout.
