All Natural

I was recently sent this clay face mask which can be purchased here. The masks boasts:
  • Purify the pores as a natural skin cleanser and address blackheads
  • Promote clearer skin and reduce the frequency of blemishes
  • Remove excess oil to combat shine
  • Protect skin from free radical damage with antioxidant vitamin E
  • Restore vitality and radiance to the complexion

I have been really struggling with my skin recently so this was perfect timing - Plus it's organic, vegan & cruelty free! There isn't really a scent to the mask, the consistency is really thick and feels cooling on the skin. You apply the mask then leave it to work its magic for 15 minutes - it doesn't dry out so no uncomfortable stiff face! My skin felt super soft and clean from just one use - I will carry on using this once a week as a little treat to my skin.

With my hair, coconut oil is the winner for me. I picked up this large pot from Holland and Barrett for around £12, although this seems expensive it has lasted me a very long time and I still have lots left! I slather this on my hair from root to tip paying special attention to the tips as this is what has suffered the most from all the bleaching. I tie my hair up in a bobble and leave it on over night. I then wash and condition as normal the next day. Cue super soft, silky, happy hair! I do this at least once a week. Personally I think there is no need for fancy hair masks - this one ingrediant works wonders for me and can be used for other things such as cooking or a body moisturiser.

Moving on to body, I have heard amazing things about homemade coffee scrubs (apparently, this is great for cellulite) so decided to make my own.

What you'll need:

  • 1 c coffee grounds
  • 6 tbsp coconut oil
  • 3 tbsp sea salt or sugar
  • empty jar

You will need to melt the coconut oil first before mixing these ingrediants together. The coffee mixed with coconut smells amazing and it is a really great exfoliator for your skin!  I purchased this jar from B&M Bargains for £1.45. Let me know what you think if you try these products!
