Make-up Favourites

Nivea Men Post Shave Balm (primer)
Whoever first tired this, thank you! I pinched this off my boyfriend after reading rave reviews about it being used as a primer and I love it. It feels really cooling on my skin, helps my foundation stick and it is super cheap compared to most primers!

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation
This is my absolute favourite foundation. It is the only foundation that I have tried that truly is 'full coverage' for me, the smallest bit goes a long way. I like to keep this as my 'special foundation' as it is quite pricey but is perfect for nights out.

Seventeen Stay Time Foundation
This is another great full coverage foundation at a much cheaper price. The consistency is quite thick but I like to use this as an under eye concealer, the light shade is great for covering dark circles.

NYX Wonder Stick
Looking for a quick and easy contouring product? This is great for when I am in a rush before work. Simply apply the product straight to the skin then blend using a beauty blender. Ta-da! Instant cheek bones.

ELF HD Setting Powder
This product is a great alternative to the MAC setting powder that I previously used at a much cheaper price. It's perfect for setting your foundation and under eye area, matting the skin and filling in any fine lines.

ELF Contour Kit
When I am looking for a bolder contour for nights out I like to use both the NYX Wonder Stick & ELF Contour Kit to darken the colour and add a little blush to my cheeks.

MUA Eyeshadow Pallette
This pallette is a perfect, cheap alternative to the Naked pallettes that are so popular. I love creating smokey looks for nights out or keeping it simple with nudes for the day time. The pink shimmery shade is my favourite at the moment.

Benefit Gimme Brow
The new-look Benefit range has been every where recently & rightly so. I picked this sample up in a magazine and I really, really like it. It fills out my brows, darkens them slightly and keeps them in place. I will definately be purchasing the full size when this runs out.

Collection Extreme Felt Tip Liner
I must admit I am the worst at liquid liner, how do you guys do it!? Although I still struggle to get a perfect wing I find the felt tip liners are best for beginners like me.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit
I picked this up in Vegas and haven't put it down since. I wasn't big on highlighters before but this product has changed that - it really completes my makeup and gives an amazing glow!

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream Stockholm
This shade is a lovely, peachy nude which I think looks great with all skin tones. Its long lasting and isn't drying on the lips. Perfect for day or night!

  1. There's so many products here I've not tried, actually I don't think I've tried any of them...just similar products or the brand! So I think I need to change that, so I'm going to make note of this and probably treat myself a little.
